A single Curtiss 50-C Robin C-1 was operated in 1930 making this the first aircraft of the Policía de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (PBA) and one of the first ever in police service in Latin America. This aircraft was painted in metal finish with red bands on the wings. Two Waco ZQC-6 were acquired, on February 12, 1937, of which only one (LV-FAC) has been identified. Then, an unidentified Stinson SR-10ED Reliant was acquired at the end of the 30s. The next aircraft to be acquired were a couple (LV-XGJ & LV-ZIL) of Cessna T-50 Bobcat.
From the 16 April 1951 until the 30 March 1959 all of the aircraft belonging to the Provincia de Buenos Aires government were operated by the Policía de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. This was done in order to optimize the use of all of these assets. All of the pilots and mechanics were then incorporated into a new organization named Dirección de Servicios Aéreos de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (S.A.B.A.) which was under the umbrella of the Policía, as per the Decreto 4930 dated 30 March 1951. Initially this new organization was managed by Insp. My. Abel A. Coradazzi.
