Either in 1986 or in 1987 a couple of MOWAG Grenadier were transferred from the IMARA to the Policía de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (PBA), where they were in use with a full white livery by 1995 and are supposed to still be in operational use. This couple of Grenadiers are the only armour ever operated by this force. The Policía Federal Argentina (PFA) also received a couple where they operated for some two to three years before being transferred to the Ejército Argentino (EA). Very little is known of the transfers of these Grenadiers and of their use by both police forces. The remaining two of the six acquired initially by the IMARA were sold into the civilian collector market.
