One Eurocopter Bk-117 was transferred to the Policía de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (PBA) from the Dirección de Aeronáutica de la Provincia de Buenos Aires in December 1999 to be used as the VIP transport for Mr. Aldo Rico who was then starting his three month long tenure as the Commander of the police force. When he resigned, this aircraft was due for its 1,800 Hrs inspection, at the end of which it returned to the Dirección de Aeronáutica de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, where it is still in use.
