From 1941 to 1948 the training of the personnel was done by the individual themselves at their own expense. With the arrival of flying equipment the training of the personnel was undertaken by the Air Force in its facilities. But by 1970 this situation was not sustainable and new plans started to germinate to get help from other institutions with the instruction of both pilots and technical people. First, on March 21, 1972 by Orden del Día Nº 41, the use of the Piloto de Policía Federal badge was authorized to all personnel with the appropriate certifications. By the end of the month the next personnel had received the badge; Crio Félix Leonardo Rizutti, Subcrio Jorge Tonelli, Pr Marcelo Manuel Tarrio, Insp Miguel Angel Stazzone, Insp Carlos Loureda, Insp Abel Nuzzolese, Insp Ricardo Luis Dolino and Subinsp Armando Ferretti. From then on the training requirements of the force were fulfilled either by civilian institutions like the Escuela Nacional de Aviación Civil (ENAC), the Escuela Tecnológica de Aeronáutica Profesional (ETAP) and the MBB itself in Germany, or by military institutions like the Fuerza Aérea Argentina, the Armada República Argentina, the Prefectura Naval Argentina, the Ejército Argentino and the Gendarmería Nacional Argentina, in order of importance. Also a number of helicopter pilots were sent to participate in some missions with the Bavarian Police in Germany in order to learn on the particulars of the use of this kind of aircraft in modern police use.
But, again, by 1995 this situation was not sustainable and new plans started to germinate. So it was that on November 10, 1995 by Orden del Día Nº 198, the Escuela Federal de Aviación Policial was officially created. It quickly began to receive equipment in the form of one Cicaré SVH-3 for helicopter basic training and of one Frasca 142W flight instruments trainer. The flying material is composed of the single Cessna A.150L Aerobat serialed LQ-LBV and of one of the MBB Bö-105 helicopters, serialed LQ-LAP. The school is today completely certified by the Fuerza Aérea Argentina. Currently, the school is located in the facilities of the B.A. Isla Demarchi.
