One Eurocopter Bk-117 C-1, LQ-WJW (C/N S-7512), was acquired on February 7, 1995 in configuration medevac for two casualties. It uses the callsign H-9 and is mostly used for evacuations of force personnel. This aircraft replaced in this function the MBB Bö-105 serialed LQ-ARV, (C/N S-563), for which it is much more adapted due to the cockpit configuration.
Unfortunately, this aircraft has been out of service for more than a year because it is in need of a refurbish that has not been budgeted. Part of the medical equipment has been transferred to the MBB Bö-105 serialed LQ-AOF, (C/N S-545), which is currently performing the medevac function for this force.
