One Sikorsky S-51 Dragonfly, LQ-XXR (C/N 5161), was transferred from the DGAC sometime in 1951 to the Policía Federal Argentina (PFA) where it served until September 28, 1957 when it was transferred again to the Prefectura Naval Argentina (PNA) as the PM-20 by virtue of the Contratación Directa Nº 593 under the umbrella of the Decreto del Poder Ejecutivo Nacional Nº 14275/57. With that transfer went also the only Cessna T-50 Bobcat, the two de Havilland 104 Doves, and five naval launches. It operated from its base in José Caros Paz and logged more than 200 hours of flight in service of the institution.
