The Estación Aérea de Comodoro Rivadavia (EACR) "Prefecto Mayor Dn. Emilio Eduardo Velázquez Tarlisetti" is located at B.A. Comodoro Rivadavia, Provincia de Chubut, and was created on 1990. It is charged with managing the missions of the flying elements from both Escuadrilla de Alas Fijas (EAF) and/or Escuadrilla de Alas Rotativas (EAR) that are assigned on rotation to it.

The missions of this unit are; maritime patrol and surveillance, SAR and MEDEVAC. The aircraft that are on rotation are normally CASA 212 Aviocar, Eurocopter AS-365N Dauphin and/or Eurocopter SA-330L Puma.
